KitRoo

Terms of use

Updated 1 October 2026

KitRoo is operated by Dan Robinson. You can contact us at [email protected]. These terms explain the current private beta. Our privacy notice explains how information is handled.

What KitRoo does

KitRoo helps you record Dexcom G7 sensor identifiers, wear dates, stock, and support details. It can prepare a summary for Dexcom. Selected Premium beta accounts can submit eligible UK support reports through KitRoo after adult review. Some issues still need Dexcom’s own form or phone service. This is an independent service and is not affiliated with Dexcom.

Health and safety

KitRoo does not display glucose readings, control a sensor or pump, diagnose a problem, or give treatment advice. Do not use KitRoo to make treatment decisions or as a replacement for your CGM app, medical team, or emergency services.

Accounts and family access

You must be 18 or over to create an account. Your adult journal is for you; you cannot add another adult’s journal to your account. You may add children for whom you have parental responsibility. Keep your sign-in details and pairing codes private. You are responsible for choosing who can use a child’s paired phone, checking the information entered, and removing a phone’s access when needed.

Sensor records and Dexcom reports

Check LOT, serial number, dates and support answers against the box and what happened. A saved report, prepared form or attempted submission is not proof that Dexcom received a case. Treat a case as received only when Dexcom gives a reference or confirms it directly. If KitRoo cannot confirm a submission outcome, check with Dexcom before trying again to avoid duplicate reports. Dexcom decides how it handles support requests and replacements.

When you tick the box and choose Submit to Dexcom, you ask KitRoo to fill in and send Dexcom’s support form for you, including ticking Dexcom’s consent box on your behalf so Dexcom can use the details to provide technical support. You confirm the details are accurate and that you are the wearer or have parental responsibility for them.

Beta availability and price

KitRoo is currently an invitation-only beta. Features may change and service may occasionally be unavailable. There is no purchase or paid subscription in this version. Premium beta access is granted to selected accounts; a future paid plan would have its own price and purchase terms shown before anyone is charged.

Fair use and suspending accounts

Use KitRoo only for your own and your children’s sensor records. We may suspend an account that is used to access someone else’s information, to harm the service, or to send false reports to Dexcom. Where we can, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond first.

Our responsibility to you

We provide KitRoo with reasonable care and skill, but as a beta it may have errors or interruptions. Keep your own record of any Dexcom case reference. We are not responsible for losses we could not reasonably foresee, for Dexcom’s decisions about replacements, or for business losses. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.

Your information and ending use

You can correct journal records, revoke paired phones, delete a single journal, and delete the adult account and linked wearer records in Settings. You can stop using KitRoo at any time. See the deletion page and privacy notice for details, including backup retention.

Problems and changes

Tell us about a problem at [email protected]. We may update these terms as the beta changes and will show the updated date here. We will give account holders notice of a material change before it takes effect. If we close the beta, we will give at least 30 days’ notice by email so you can keep any details you need. These terms do not remove any rights you have under UK consumer law. The law of England and Wales applies. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
